The paper boat is a symbol of Georgie's child-like innocence. During the big storm, Georgie imagines that the paper boat he makes is an army ship. He uses his imagination, dreaming that his boat is floating across crashing waves. As the water floods, the boat flows down the sewer on the street, where Pennywise lures him to the overall death of his innocence.

Bill's bicycle (Silver)

The bicycle symbolizes childhood and simplicity in the book. The bike is Bill's prized possession, he always makes sure everything is perfect. I feel like the bike also signifies support and comfort because it protects many characters in the book. One example is when Bill had to bring Eddies asthma medicine quickly after an attack in the barrens. That saved his life, and the bike will now remind me of that scene.

"It." by Stephen King is about 7 children who are terrorized by evil in their town during the summertime. Maybe you remember that "It" takes the form of Pennywise in most of the book. One big twist in this novel is that on top of everything going on in their own lives, all 7 of the kids have to overcome their fears to defeat "It."
