“Liver king”. He became internet-famous by making videos of himself eating raw meats, lifting weights and selling supplements. He was asked over and over again if he took steroids or if he was “natty” (natural) and he stongly denied using steroids. Always pivoting back to his diet, lifestyle (selling his book) and his specially formulated supplements. Turns out...he was taking a whole lot of steroids.

This post makes me feel happy because her last sentence was "start adding. Stop restricting." While I have been in this course, I feel as though my social media platforms have been tailored to more nutritional videos, but I've engaged with videos and posts that are accurate and are posted by RDs. I do think the creator is a good source of nutrition information as she is an RD, she also does not demonize certain foods, which I appreciate. I've actually tried this recipe before and I was in fact happy, had stable energy levels, full, satisfied, and energized. Would you try this recipe?

Healthy eating for beginners: how to eat healthier in 2024!

Lucy introduces many simple and easy nutrition tips for our beginners. I really agree with her opinion that we should all be able to intuitively listen to our body instead of using calorie counting. Many people want to have a healthier lifestyle, but those cumbersome methods hindered them, including me. Before, I searched online to find ways to have balanced meals and I found most of them are clear calories, which is not convenient for me to follow because I will never count calories for each food before eating. And she recommends a good way to have healthy portion sizes, which is taking a nine inch plate and one third is vegetables, one third is healthy carbs and one third is healthy protein. It is similar to MyPlate, but more convenient and better to get started. I have already begun to use it now! It’s really helpful
