My first time sculpting. The intention was to restore a vintage Halloween animatronic where the original latex head and hands had dry rotted and no longer functioned properly (the mouth was supposed to animate but couldn't due to the latex becoming hard). I sculpted a new clay head and hand, made plaster molds of them, and casted new latex pieces. The image above shows the entire animatronic, the head and pair of hands are what have been remade by myself.

This is my most recent animatronic restoration. This is another vintage Halloween animatronic that the original latex failed due to dry rot. The intention was to restore the animatronic. Each latex item was sculpted individually and each has its own specific mold. The clown's left hand is hold a rat and to make it easier to produce, the left hand is made up of two separate latex parts, one being the rat's body and the other being the fist. The two are adhered together using contact cement.

This is my first original sculpture that wasn't a recreation of a previous design. The original intention of this character was to be an ancient underwater sea grim reaper. This is mainly designed to be just a prop head and the intention is to one day make a full life-sized character. This item was simpler to make due to the plaster mold only needing to be a one part mold whereas my previous items required two part molds. This leads to there being no seam lines.

This is the same sculpt as the ancient undersea reaper character. The paint job has been change to resemble a charred/smoldering skull. To achieve this look, it was painted in a base of red and orange. Then it was dry-brushed with black paint. The final intention of this item is for it to be mounted to a wall plaque with a flickering LED light installed.

This is the same sculpt as the ancient undersea reaper. This paint job is intended to combine the world of Halloween and summer. The paint job resembles that of a pineapple which I associate to things like warmth, relaxation, and airiness. These things remind me of summertime. This item could be seen as not only a Halloween decoration, but as a year round piece of home decor.

This is my latest creation and listed above is a video link going in depth and showing the process of how basically all of my latex Halloween items are created. Showing the process from the original design concept to the finished product.

The original intention for this character was for it to be a mutant rat with some sort of a 'odd' character trait. That trait ended up being the dinosaur like spine on it's back. This was also intended to be a simple enough design that only required a one part mold and a stand alone character that is complete in and of itself.
