Skating Day! March 18th

It was Saturday. A very nice, bright, and sunny day! The first thing me and my mom did was go to the Monkey Business Cafe, and we had some delicious food! As a semi-picky eater, I just ordered sides. I ordered some tater tots, strawberries, and some bacon. My mom ordered.... something. I think it had egg, bacon, and vegetables but it was not an omelet. Anyways moving on now! After that I got to go roller skating with the children's bible study group at my church, and BOY WAS IT FUN! I always am a bit shaky at first, but then I get the hang of it and just glide! My only problem is that when you get the hang of it, your session is already over... Anyways after the session, I had to go to a masquerade event at CVA, and me and my classmate (Joseph) went and just played Connect 4 because we did not like dancing. We somehow managed to fill the entire game without either of us winning!

I think this was during Spring break. I went to my friend's sister's play at my old elementary school. We were just playing around afterwards, but before we left the school we planned a bike ride for the next day (which was a Saturday). The place we went to is called Carbon Canyon, and it is so beautiful! It was a semi-cloudy day and the views were nice (as you can see in the picture)! My friend (Dean), his sister (Renee), his dad and I all went here because we love riding bikes, so we had an AWESOME time! After the ride, we ate at Del Taco (because my friend and I really enjoy that place), and we just chilled! It was a fun day and I hope we could go back soon!

Drum Day! June 6th

I loved this day because though I just played at rehearsal (we rehearse the songs and graphics for Sunday), I did very well! It was only my 4th time ever playing drums, and the guy was late so that's why I got to play. This experience boosted my self esteem and has inspired me to keep playing! Now I have some of my own drums, and I have been practicing them so I can improve! If I get better, maybe at the end of the year I will be able to play for a service! Also after that day I got KFC and a lemon cake from there and was happy!

Christian Camp Week! August

This week was fun! I made a lot of new friends (such as the band behind me)! I also did a lot of fun things like using BB-guns, archery, hikes, and going to the lake (we kind of had to because it was a camp-wide thing) and I loved it! There was also this place called the Malt shop, and they have these delicious, crispy dinosaur chicken nuggets so I ordered them often. There was another place (a cafe) and they have Thousand Pines merchandise (by the way Thousand Pines is the name of the camp), so I bought a sweater that I wear almost all of the time! The thing that I loved the most was building a better relationship with God (because that was the point) and everything was good in general :D

So-Fi Stadium! December 16th

I loved going here! My mom and I got tickets (to a UCLA versus some place that I forgot the name of) for free from the Tiger Woods Foundation because it was a family night thing (everyone who wanted them got them). Basically after you are finished taking certain classes there for a certain period of time, you always showcase what you've done. Anyways I had never been here (So-Fi stadium) before, but it was definitely expensive. Here are some things I think you should know before going, is that parking is $60 dollars, you have to pay $20 dollars for them to keep your bagged items (unless the items are in a clear backpack/bag) because APPARENTLY they have a very STRICT CLEAR BAG POLICY and so yeah that was so not fun and we spent money we did not have (not literally but metaphorically). AND MIND YOU WE HAD FREE TICKETS! It was fun when you were inside though! I was paying attention to the game, but I also love behind the scenes work, so my mom and I were looking at the cameras, sound, and light items! We even found this camera that is held by strings, but it hovers around the field so graciously! Its main job is to capture the football. People who do camera work for sports are called videographers, and my cousin who died used to do things like this, and I take after him a lot. This experience helped me realize this even more, so I decided that I want to do cinematography and videography when I get older.
