Some of the topics of the sites were a family farm or winery, a online shop selling fountain pens, ink and notebooks, there was also an interest in a breed specific dog club, a dog sport website and a dog breeding website that offered protection training.

All interviewees mentioned that the cost of making the website themselves would be much cheaper if they made it themselves. Two interviewees said they had a lack of coding knowledge, leading them to a WYSIWYG website. They also discussed the formatting flexibility of the website, the ease of effort and the control they could have over the site.

10. Do you believe that offering a potential Cybersecurity certificate through the website would increase user activity?

11. Would learning about login protection such as password hashing and database encryption be beneficial?

12. How comfortable are you with 2FA (Two factor authentication) and other login credentials for securing your data on a website?

Majority of the interviewees said they would be interested in a e-commerce option. Two of the interviewees communicated that they would be interested in customer reviews and or testimonials and also being able to implement their own blog. One interviewee also presented a blog comments option.

Question 6:

Some of the interactive elements these users were looking for are videos (2) , image galleries (2), social media interaction (1). 2 interviewees also said they were not looking for anything interactive on their website.

Question 14:

3 of the interviewees had no available features suggested, but some of the others were having available inactive pages, changing background color of pages while they are being updated to help recognition in typing, and a way to pay on the website for special subscriber content.

3 of the interviewees said that accessibility features have no importance to them, 1 said there was some importance and another interviewee stated that it was very important.

Question 13:

3 interviewees declared they would want their website to be compliant with the data privacy requirements in the US, GDPR and W3C. One interviewee only wanted their website to be compliant with GDPR and another one interviewee wanted their website compliant with US data privacy requirements.

All five interviewees stated that they would be interested in being able to see user metrics.

The interviewees topics were a personal resume website and a website for a band.

The interviewees talked about how a WYSIWYG website is much more easier to customize and navigate, and definitely more cheaper.

Question 6: Some of the interactive designs mentioned were links that are highlighted when hovered, adding extra contrast. Another feature were to be able to link sites on yours to access other websites.

Question 14: The interviewees did not mention other additional features.

Question 13: Both interviewees would want their website compliant with data privacy requirements in the US, other countries and also comply with the CCPA, GDPR, and W3C.

Both interviewees claimed to be interested in seeing metrics on user visits.

All 3 interviewees stated that they would be interested in user metrics on their websites.

The interviewees were interested in making a site for their photography business, another wanted a website to sell customized logos and the last interviewee wanted a personal site to share art and writings.

The topics of price were brought up, the interviewees stated that the price would be much cheaper. One said that they could have total control over the aesthetic of the website, one said it would be much easier and one said they'd use a WYSIWYG website if its UI is not too complex.

Question 6: One interviewee discussed that they were interested in animations on interactive icons. Another interviewee talks about buttons when you preview an image, you should be able to preview it and zoom in and easily navigate through all the product images.

Question 14: None of the interviewees could add in a feature that was not already widely used.

Question 13:

All 3 users wanted their website to be compliant with US and other countries data privacy requirements as well as being compliant with the GDPR, CCPA and W3C.

Question 2:

One interviewee discussed that their website would showcase non profit events and programs that they provided. The other interviewee wanted to display their skills as a developer.

One interviewee was interested in a blog option, however hesitates at a comment section due to security concerns and is not interested in ecommerce options at all. On the other hand, the other interviewee did want a blog and commenting option implemented in their site.

Question 6:

Some of the interactive elements these interviewees were looking for were being able to easily navigate the state of their site, they also wanted to see forms, call-to-action buttons and more.

Question 14: One of the interviewees suggested a features to check for accessibility, for example page readers to help those who are visually impaired.

Both interviewees were interested in user metrics, and load speed and bounce time; but one did stated that they felt it could take a load on their mental health.

Question 3: An interviewee stated that they would prefer a WYSIWYG website in interest of shipping a product sooner, and also the cost and flexibility that comes with it. The other interviewee expressed that it would again be much more cost effective, and another way to display their skills.

Both interviewees were adamant that accessibility features were important to them. They discussed how taking into consideration of contrast, alt text and more are important so that all users are aware of what website they're visiting.

Question 13:

One interviewee mentioned that they would want their website to be compliant with the data privacy requirements in the US and other countries, and also be compliant with CCPA, GDPR, and W3C.
