Spectators could also enjoy sports as much as people that play the sports because they follow specific teams and can watch their team with friends, go to games and have parties. Fans of sports teams make it a social and fun time for people to be together to watch games. 
Sports in America is important for so many reasons. Mainly that everyone can enjoy sports by being involved in sport by playing or watching the sport as a spectator.
