Starting in August we will convert from Bloomz to ParentSquare (PS) as our school unified communications platform. To help you prepare for this conversation, please review this slide deck .


During the August Advance, we will provide you with time, training resources, and a step-by-step checklist to launch your school's ParentSquare. Until then, below are some tools to help you get familiar with PS and provide a jump start.

  • Tuesday, August 20, 7:00 - 10:00 AM, WHS Library (Opening Day).

    • District Office Staff

    • Operational Staff - transportation, nutrition services, maintenance & operations, technology, safety & security

    • New employees classified and certificated

  • Non-Wenatchee High School current employees who do not have an ID from 23-24.


    All continuing school staff with IDs from 23-24 will receive new ID badges on their school photo day.

  • FYI Daybreak - We are using Stronger Connections grant funds to renew our contract with Daybreak for virtual mental health services for next year.  Here are some details about our new agreement:

    • Individual therapy for students aged 10-19.

    • NEW - Family therapy for students aged 5-12 - More details on this coming soon.

    • Each student or family is eligible for 1 intake session and 12 therapy sessions.

    • NEW - We have an unlimited amount of spaces for students or families.

  • Elementary will be switching to Semester Grading Periods beginning this school year. Reporting will be done in Skyward instead of Illuminate. All teachers will be trained on how to enter grades for report cards in January. Training for the optional Skyward Grade Book will be provided upon request.
