I am confused do we just put our main findings in the research into themes and then relate it to the lit review or do we need to do more reading for the thematic analysis?

at the very end of our thematic analysis, do we have to have 4 themes that we have chosen or is it 4-6 themes?

Is it best to coincide what our themes are to research in the literature review and highlight if there was a theme we weren’t expecting?

we add the transcriptions as an appendix, do we refer directly to these as in like as you can see in appendix d or not?

i'm a bit confused-if we have a theme but within that theme there are different views from different participants e.g. ice cream and some people are saying it's good and some people are saying it's bad (obvs not for my dissertation), is that okay?

Is there a way or a website/app that you suggest us using to be able to transcribe semi structured interviews for us? Just concerned with how time consuming the write up is going to be! Thanks in advance Wendy :)
