Often this is the most easily recognizable emotion. When we are sad sometimes we are on the verge of tears. Our body fills with emotion and empathy sometimes because we feel bad about something, or something sad happens in our lives. Our smiles disappear quickly and a frown is normally seen with someone who is sad.

Confusion happens to all of us.
Whether we are confused about a job assignment or what direction we are traveling,
at some point we are all confused by something. Looking at the baby's face
below confused normally leaves our face looking like this. Our eyebrows are
raised as if we are questioning something. We might pinch our lips together and
even see our foreheads crinkle slightly.

Don't we all remember those lecture
halls in college? If this picture doesn’t scream bored I don’t know what does.
Typical signs of boredom are the classic head slumped on your hands. Our
attention is lost and we have trouble sitting up focusing on what we are
hearing. We slump over, sometimes daydream or fall asleep because we have no
interest in what we are seeing/hearing.

depressed at some point in our lives. Whether it is after a break up or after receiving
a bad grade. We always tend to want to be alone and not have anyone see us. In
this picture below you can tell she is upset/depressed as her arms are folded
and her head is down. She gives off the impression, just leave me be.
