Seung Eun Kim whose notable positions include working on The Boondocks and League of Legends. The way he renders his figures with dark, graphic shadow shapes in combination with his usage of highlights and a mixture of textures in the brighter areas of the figure really sticks out to me. Additionally, I really like his incorporation of detailed anatomy and musculature, going as far as to include individual veins sticking out.

I’m Bridgette, but you can call me Bri for short! I’ve lived in New York for my whole life and have moved around the city a bunch. I love learning languages and attempting to travel when I can, but this is always a little tricky because I’m a pretty shy person. I Initially started at FIT doing fashion design but switched majors to illustration because sewing really wasn't my thing. 

My biggest ambition at the moment is to become a webtoon author and publish my own comics, so a lot of the illustrators I admire are in that field. Wendy Lian Martin is one of my favorite webtoon illustrators due to how well she paces her story and how fluid all of her panels are. She’s currently publishing a comic named Castle Swimmer and I really recommend it. Other webcomics and comic illustrators I admire are Stephanie Quimco (Quimchee), Johanna The Mad, and Carey Pietsch. All of these illustrators have perfected how to balance simplified characters and details while still having exciting dynamic and fantastical settings and I hope to achieve that one day myself.

I've lived in NY all my life and I have too many interests/hobbies to count at the moment. I love collecting ' The Art of ' books, clothes and trying new things to inspire or develop my artistic ventures. I've always leaned strongly towards digital art, specifically Rotoscope Illustration on Adobe Illustrator.  But now I really just wanna focus on reintroducing myself to the foundations of Illustration to become a more expressive and unique artist.
I've always been more inspired from movies and music, But Bruce Timm, Katsuhiro Otomo, Alex Ross, Deathburger, Dan Lish, Kohei Horikoshi, Chris Guest, David Choe and KenR0ck are just a few of the many Artists that I obsess over. The Art below is from Ryan Meinerding. He's mainly responsible for the Hyper realistic Concept art and Illustrative work for the MCU. I think his work ethic is incredible and the amount of expression and technically that goes into to his concept work alone is insane to me.

I have a big admiration for graffiti art, always keeping an eye out when I am traveling around. It reminds me of photography culture in a way. One of my favorite illustrator is Jamie Hewlett, one half of the virtual band Gorillaz. Jamie is in charge of the fictional universe of the band, which includes many cartoon/comic illustrations and animations that cross over to real-life settings. Many of their music videos show these animated characters with real people or in actual locations.
