Music can be great for some students to focus during activities and podcasts can be used in so many ways to teach.

Example:
But Why: A Podcast for Curious Kids uploads a fun talk each week teaching about interesting facts and topics. They also address more serious things while keeping it appropriate for kids. There is also a podcast called, Book Podcasts (for kids) that reads aloud summarizations of kids movies or books.
These are great things for kids to listen to depending on their interests and many times they may even help them find their passions. Another aspect of this is that as an educator you can create your own podcast for your students.
