1-New drugs stop spread of Melanoma by 90%:

Melanoma is a type of cancer that results
from the pigment-containing cells known as melanocytes. A human made, small molecule targets a gene's ability to make RNA and specific proteins melanoma tumors. This specific gene activity causes the disease to spread. The new compound is there to shut it down. It is said to be an effective way to fight skin cancer, a disease that kills approximately 10,000 people annually. One reason that this disease is fatal and needs to be stopped is because it spreads quickly to other parts of the body, including the brain and the lungs. The team in Michigan University injected mice with human melanoma cells. They discovered that the compound greatly reduced the spread of tumor in mice.

2- A machine that can remove cholesterol plaques

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 610,000 individuals die from heart diseases each year. Researchers are trying to tackle this issue and have developed a machine to do so. The FDA recently approved of a new device that allows surgeons to remove dangerous plaques from blood vessels. The new tool, called Pantheris, has been developed by a California company. It is used to treat peripheral artery disease (PAD). The device has a built in camera that allows the surgeons to see the arteries live and shave away the plaque precisely. PAD is caused by a build-up of plaque in the arteries that blocks blood flow to the legs and feethttp://content.jwplatform.com/previews/VHQoTTWi-FeYYa3DF

1. The Heart-Saving Hormone
Scientists, in the University of California, discovered a hormone that can treat acute heart failure. Heart failure occurs when the heart can no longer pump enough the body. 1 in every 4 people diagnosed with heart failure die in a year. Thus, scientists discovered a new drug, called Serelaxin, that increased the chances of survival by 37%. Serelaxin is a synthetic version of a hormone produced by stressed pregnant women called relaxin. Serelaxin causes the vessels' muscles to relax, thus allowing enough oxygen and nutrients to be pumped from and in to the heart. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that prevents the blood vessels from occlusion.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBq1piRqmIQ
2. Thus, the Egyptian government passed a regulation that promises higher cure rates at significantly reduced cost. The cure for Hepatitis C was very expensive, that even moderately rich people couldn't afford it. However, the government reduced the cost to only 5 dollars, so that everyone could take the cure. They are even encouraging and calling for all Egyptians to take the cure to have a healthy society.
