Brian isn't very dedicated unless he is playing video games, he is getting c's and d's in school and has been cut from football due to his grades. I think this will make him a little more dedicated

Brian's parents are smart, they are smart because they know that taking Brian's games away will devastate him so they threaten to take them away so he will get outside.

Brian's parents are non discriminatory, because they don't have high expectations for Brian.
