I think that it was a good thing that we expanded westward and aquired all the land, but the reasons used to justify this were wrong. By saying that the U.S had a God given right to all the land is like saying I have a right to take the house you live in, because it will benefit me. This expansion was all about finding wealth, and resources, that in the long run helped the United States.
