         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Class Insecta is well represented in Liaoning and Hebei Provinces of China, with over 500 species referable to over 100 families based upon over 10,000 specimens. This fantastic diversity and exquisite detail is unprecedented throughout the world. This example is large cicada preserved in side view. This is a detailed specimen from the dim past of 125 million years ago, which shows many features such as the wing venation and segmentation of the abdomen.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Psittacosaurus sp.</strong><br>Lower Cretaceous, Barremian Stage<br>Yixian Formation<br><a href="http://www.fossilmuseum.net/Fossil_Sites/LiaoningSite.htm">Liaoning, China</a>The psittacosaurids, known only from the late Early Cretaceous of Central Asia, are considered to be close to an ancestor of the horned dinosaurs. Both the parrot-beaked and horned dinosaurs possessed jaws, being curved and tapered foreward and the lateral teeth highly specialized to masticate the vegetative food. Psittacosaurids were relatively small, up to 2 meters in length, and mostly bipedal cursors although the forelimbs in these dinosaurs were relatively long and well-developed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Enantiornithine birds at one time were the dominant group of birds during the Creatceous, only to go the way of the dinosaurs by the end of the perioid. Their name is derived in the meaning “opposite birds” due to a reverse articular arrangement between the scapula and the coracoid from the typical birds of today. Eoenantiornis (Hou, Zhou &amp; Feduccia, 1999) is one of the most primitive members of this subfamily; its name means dawn opposite bird, signifying its primitive status The first specimens found showed a total of twelve teeth present in the distinctively short, triangular skull.</div><div><br></div><div> </div>]]></description>
