Iconic places in Jurong West  
1) One of the most iconic places in 
Jurong West is the Chinese Garden.The Chinese Garden was built all the way in 1975, it was based on Chinese Gardening Art and the main characteristic is the integration of splendid architectural features with the natural environment. The Chinese Garden is modelled along the northern Chinese imperial style of architecture and landscaping. Residents can go to Chinese garden to exercise with their friends or family which will strengthen their relationships, able to make them bond together and create happy memories.

A Female.She finds the mama shop special as teh sell unique snacks at reasonable prices as compared to 7 Eleven/Cheers etc.she goes to that special place of her's to eat her meals and she feels that the place is good and satisfying.

A man who is over 40 years old. He stated that he loves to go to the park sometimes to take a walk or run. He also said that he wanted to keep fit and stay healthy. This shows that he can get a fit body while taking a walk or run in the park, at the same time able to make friends with the other joggers.

A man who is over 50 years old. He often goes to the coffee shop that is near his HDB flat to meet his old friends and drink coffee with them while chatting. From the survey, we found out that people from different age groups will have different preference on their special/favourite places, while some might have the same special place , example the park. They are able to do different activities there, the young ones exercise and study there while the elderly exercise and chat with their friends there. This shows that the residents are able to feel a sense of belonging in Jurong West as they have memorable memories at their special place in Jurong West. Some maybe because of convenience while some maybe because of the facilities there. With over 850 exhibits, spread over 8 galleries, the Singapore Science Centre serves its purpose by both attracting locals and foreigners, and educating the students in Singapore. Residents can spend time with their family or friends there during their free time which will able to make the residents bond with their love ones. Also able to learn new knowledge about science while having fun with their love ones.
