Step one: Create a logo

In the first part of the unit, we were asked to decide on a company product with our group members; ours was a product called Snoway. We were then tasked to individually design a logo for that company. Although mine was not picked, I still enjoyed the experience and learning how to develop a company logo.

The second part of our commercial art unit was focused on designing a box/ package for our product. The designs varied based on what region we were marketing to, my region was Argentina, and the box we chose was a pillow box.

What I learned.....

While this unit was particularly short, I learned a lot from it. I learned that there are a lot of requirements when designing commercially. I also learned that I had to pay attention to detail more, so I didn't offend my marketed audience. Finally, I learned that it is easier to design products and logos when you work together as a group.
