There are many different ways that physical activty can help ease the brain mentally, both scientificly and emotionally. Scientificly, working out releases a chemical in the brain called endorphins. Endorphins is the chemical in the brain that affects your well-being. This means that when you do allow yourself to do physical activity, it realses the feel good chemical to your brain. Mentally, physical activty helps a person in many different ways. Helping with a persons confidence and how they look at themselves, using physical activity as a coping mechanism instead of substance abuse, and also social interaction, meeting new people and having new experiences.
