Place- The place this takes place in is an office building on the fourth floor, BROS company

This is the name because the name of knitting needles is purls. The name "Purl" references a knitting term, which symbolizes her being unique and her identity.

Rising Action- She feels isolated working with all men, and struggles to fit in with them.

Climax- She had a temporary belonging after she changed herself. She turned cold and gained the acceptation of the peers she works with.

Falling Action- She realized that she shouldn't need to change to be comfortable. Purl starts to embrace her true self and shows the co workers who she really is.

Resolution- Her coworkers become more inclusive because she taught them how. This lead to a more diverse working place and more accepting area to work in.

Purl is struggling with herself and who she is. She is also being judged by her work peers so it is causing her to have self doubt.

Office workers- Rude,ignorant,unkind, not helpful, tall, grown men, 20's-40's

Purl- goes from being very joyful and being excited for her new job but then turns sad and mean. After she turned mean to have people like her she then turned back to being joyful and kinda when new people just like her joined the company.

The coworkers: Reflect societal pressures to conform.

The office: Symbolizes exclusionary and male dominated workplace culture.
