According to researchers there is limited knowledge and understanding of the roles of professional in K-12 education. Jeppesen (2021) discusses that it is a critical part working as an interdisciplinary team because you must understand each team members' roles and responsibilities. It can be inferred that interprofessional education is each team member within the school understanding the roles and duties of each team member and utilizing those skills to instruct students in the classroom. Villagrana (2024) defines inter professional collaboration (IPC) as a process of professionals from different professional backgrounds that work together to support the well-being of shared individuals. Wallerstedt (2023) discuss how due to limited knowledge of others roles and duties there has been an increase need of professional development to support knowledge and understanding to better improve K-12 education.

Due to the pandemic, the use of technology has increased especially in the field of education. In K-12 education trainings and newer technology has been implemented to help improve instruction that adheres to the curriculum. The impact technology has on interprofessional education is the ability for each team member to utilize tools to effectively develop instruction to administer in the classroom. Moreover, it provides resources to utilize to help facilitate the roles and responsibilities. Jeppesen (2021) discusses improving professional development in the schools to help improve comprehension of each members roles and responsibilities to better support K-12 education.

I was thinking of creating an exhibit that focused on the evolution of technology (i.e. computers) throughout time. It would provide students with knowledge of the past and how it has evolved since the creation. The goal is to teach students to appreciate tools and utilize only for education purposes and not to abuse.
