I am from Bogota but  currently I live in Duitama in an apartment where I live with my mother and my brother.  Duitama, it is a small and quiet city. My apartment is very nice, there is a large living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small wash zone. In my residential complex there is a playground for children and a community room.
 
In my daily routine I get up at 8:00 am, get ready and  I eat breakfast at 8:30 am with fruit and cereal. Then I go to work in my car, lunch at 2:00 pm soup, chicken, rice and salad. I return home at 8:00 pm and take a break, I have dinner at 9:00 a delicious oatmeal. I  go to bed at 11:00 pm but before that I usually study English (twice a week) and on weekends I liked  visit places with my family.

Algunos de mis aportes si los hice dentro del tiempo estipulado, participe en el foro y lamentablemente no pude asistir de forma sincrónica a las webs conferencias, pero vi las grabaciones. Aprendí nuevo vocabulario, conectores y también el uso de herramientas como padlet. Es muy importante lo que estoy aprendiendo ya que es lo mínimo para poder defenderme en una conversación y no solo eso también en la redacción de textos, con la posibilidad de nuevas oportunidades tanto de manera personal como profesional en un futuro.

- What are the main touristic places in your city or town?The main tourist places in Duitama are the Church of San Juan de Dios and the Plaza de los Libertadores.

- What is the typical food in your city?The typical food in my city is cuchuco, changua and mazamorra

- What are the main ingredients of the typical food?The main ingredients of each of these typical foods are:

Cuchuco: It is made with pork or beef, potatoes, coriander, and onion.

Changua: It is made with milk, water, corinder, onion, and eggs.

Mazamorra: It is made with corn, panela, cinnamon, and milk.

- What are the main celebrations in your city/town? The main celebrations in my city are events such as horse fairs and the carnival of joy

- What do people do in those celebrations? People usually wear typical costumes, listen to music, drink alcohol and there are shows

- What activities can visitors do in your city or town? In my city, visitors can go to the Church of San Juan de Dios and the Church of Santa Bárbara, tour the Central Plaza and take a walk on the ecological path.

Aunque me falta más confianza al expresarme oralmente en inglés, estoy trabajando en ello. Estoy manteniendo una actitud positiva tanto en mi vida personal como profesional, ya que esto me abre más oportunidades y me permite esforzarme para adquirir nuevos conocimientos.
