         <description><![CDATA[<div>It occurs to me that indigenous knowers and knowledge would add significantly to any discussions with students around evidence based medicine where the 3 pillars are generally considered to be 1. the best available evidence, 2. practitioner experience and 3. patient preference. Increasingly 2 and 3 seem to be lost in medicine in the search for 1 and it seems to be that discussing these more collaborative approaches, especially with an indigenous lecturer or guest lecturer, would be a great way to help student see the benefits in bringing back some balance. </div>]]></description>
