Who is responsible?
we all humans are responsible for this the main reason for the acid rain is air pollution.

As said before acid rain contains acids like sulfuric and nitric acid, but how can these acids get mixed with the rain?
it is not only acids but also smoke. this occurs when emissions from factories or cars contact with the water in the atmosphere and then these emissions get mixed with the water and when the process of water cycle happens these chemicals also travel with the water to form rain, and this rain then comes down in the form of acid rain.
