It was made in 2001 by Apple and came with access to the iTunes store. Steve Jobs created it as his replacement to the mp3 player.My siblings got to share one, with music all on one device. It amazed me that you  could take music anywhere in this small device. This innovation led to the access of free music with ads to be a popular format, and decreased illegal piracy of music. The ability to not have to buy music, but simply stream for free using internet was extremely beneficial to me. Now I could listen to whatever I wanted and not have to beg my parents for 1.29 to pay for a song on iTunes. Another benefit was that music would no longer take up space on my  phone.I was so glad to have the ability to discover so many artists through this platform. Google Glass can even take a picture by just sensoring the wearer winking. It's conveniently hands free. I thought that the fact that technology can now be so easy to use and to actually wear was very futuristic.
