I think the reason why people that have higher grammar and vocabulary grades aren't winning is because the audience their talking to, or the people they are targeting don't understand. Whenever I have to talk in front a crowd I get nervous but I try to use some words that I don’t used as much. People who run important things like a business company or a group project you need to make sure you don’t mess up so people will be impressed by the way you speak and won’t make fun of you. There are people who say things that no one knows what they are saying, sometimes on purpose because the don’t want to say what they have to say or they forgot. In our society some people are used to doing presentations over a computer or tablet, but not in front of a crowd in person which is a lot more nerve racking but it also shows people you're not afraid to face your fears.
