It seems important to name and commit to supporting the science education literacy of students and communities who live under specific forms of oppression and marginalization. For example, naming a commitment to the thriving of communities of color, poverty-impacted communities, and Indigenous communities on their terms. Also, would it be possible to name racial justice and Indigenous self-determination as a focus for shared commitment.
