well in the 19th century they saw vampires as people that got a disease and now in the 20th century we see them as people who drink blood from others necks and people that don't like going out in the sun so they only come out at night and they also don't have a reflection in the mirror.- Anahi

I agree with you Anahi, During the 19th century they saw people as vampires. One of them had really bad diseases. We as humans see them as people who goes though the human parts and they take blood out of you parts. Most of the time they are out in the night because people are sleeping.-Magdali Lopez Garcia

In the 20th century, vampires could not go out in the sunlight (since it caused horrible eruptions or even "melted), they slept during the day and hunted at night, their reflections were not seen in the mirrors and for some strange reason the garlic was his greatest enemy. However, starting in the 21st century, new vampires arrived, specially "designed" to integrate into modern society.

Is there any truth to the superstitions we listed? If not, then why do masses of people throughout history believe in them?

no not really I know that vampires are not real, but I think people just believe that there is just like some people believe in Santa Claus just so people can have some imagination or a fantasy.-Anahi

Throughout history and in numerous cultures various beliefs about vampires have appeared, it is not known if they are myths or simply lies to scare people but at least I think they are false
