         <title>THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it can be changed. This means that energy, while it might change forms, it just can't disappear off the face of the Earth, or appear out of nowhere, the energy had to have gone someplace. Energy can can and will change, and when it does, the original energy just doesn't disappear and get replaced by a different type of energy, it really changes, just like when a substance goes through a chemical change, the original substance doesn't disappear, it just changes forms. This is shown when a pool stick hits a cue ball, and the mechanical energy, that was in the pool stick when it was moving, gets transferred into the cue ball, and with that new mechanical energy, (since the pool stick hit the cue ball, a little of the mechanical energy became sound energy, which was released into the air) the cue ball starts rolling, until it runs out of the mechanical energy it was given, just like a phone runs out of battery. This law is also shown, when a phone gets charged, as the electrical energy moves up the chord and powers the phone. The energy is then used up by the phone, and is released into the air, but the energy did not disappear, it was just used up and transformed into a new type of energy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Energy transfer is when energy moves from one object to the next, but it has to be the same energy that is moving from each object, it can't be two different types of energy moving to the same object. This is shown when electric energy moves up circuits and chords to power the electronics. On the circuits and chords, only electric energy can be found, no other energy is present during this movement of energy. This shows that when energy transfers from one object to another, there can only be one type of energy moving from each object. When you move, it is mechanical energy, so when you through a ball, it transfers your mechanical energy into the ball to make the ball fly, and eventually, the ball will run out of mechanical energy and fall to the ground, as the mechanical energy in the ball, will have transformed into a new type of energy, and also gravity will have pulled the ball down.</div>]]></description>

         <title>HOW DOES ENERGY FLOW IN A SYSTEM?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Energy flows, and is transformed and transferred. A very good example of this is when the sun gives energy to plants. The plants use this energy to do photosynthesis. The plants then release extra oxygen that they didn't need to create glucose, into the air. Us humans than breathe that air, and animals eat the plants for food, and use the oxygen the plants release to breath as well. Then humans eat the animals that eat the plants. This is how energy flows, because the energy flows from the sun, into the plants, where it release energy for animals and humans, as the animals eat the plants and breathe the air to get energy, and then humans, who also breathe air, eat the animals to get their energy. And this is how energy flows in a system.  The system showed above in the picture, is that energy is used from the sun, and the solar panel harnesses that energy, to heat the water. So the energy flows from the sun, to the solar panels, to the water, back into the air, because the water is heating up, and releasing thermal energy.</div>]]></description>

This is shown, when someone is biking, as the chemical energy that someone ate, is being transformed into mechanical energy, and as the person is biking, the mechanical energy, is transferred into the bike, which creates mechanical energy, and as the bike is moving, it releases mechanical energy, and if the bike is moving fast enough, it will release a little thermal energy as well. This is again shown in fire, as the fire is releasing thermal energy, but than you can also hear it crackle, and make a noise, which means that the fire is releasing thermal and sound energy, proving that an object can release more than one type of energy.</div>]]></description>
