We traded ideas from the southern part of the US and the Bahamas with Europe. We mainly traded crops and they traded us lost of livestock.

The Columbian Exchange was caused by new people and ideas moving to different places. Different groups of people merge and share ideas.

The effect that this had on our country is that it brought new ideas and products to our land. It showed us new ways of life and how to do things differently. We had the same impact on the old world.
