The problem is external because it is Greg's mom causing the problem. Greg tries to talk his mom out of it but it doesn't work. 
Tuesday-  What surprised me in the book was that is that Greg's brother Manny's pig can walk and wears pants.

Jamie is starting to help Isabella with the vocabulary bee also she's been getting texts from Emmily who spells her name with 2 m's because it reminds her of candy said she got all A's in every class so Jamie is jealous so she's trying to get good grades.

In the end Jamie found out that Isabella was behind all the e-mails from  Emmily ,because all the e-mails went to  Isabella.
