My professional development topic is designed to help ELA teachers in grades 4-12 improve their students writing. The focus is for ELA teachers to understand that using AI to illustrate their student's writing will help students understand the concept of adding more descriptive language to their writing. Teachers will be trained with the ideogram AI platform so that they will be able to share the training with their students. Teachers will also have an opportunity during the training to place themselves in their students places by using AI to illustrate personal creative writing. This activity will allow them to see how their descriptions must have some aspects of accuracy to achieve the desired results in the illustration, thus adding more description to their writing.
