I am honest with myself when it comes to my strengths and weaknesses. I reflect on how lessons or activities went, or why assessments went the way they went, like content that’s fun versus content that changes students. I admit when I am wrong, or when an idea I said was good turned out badly. I take moments and look at the work students complete. I also take a close look at how I interact with students, co workers, and parents.

They know their craft and never stop learning. They are curious and confident.  Teachers  who keep up with trends think creatively make their classroom experiences exciting for students. They identify ways to leap outside of the educational norms and create experiences that are unexpected, and unique. Teachers that keep up with trends know that risk-taking is a part of being successful. I can discuss on how other teachers apply new styles and ways of relating to students. I will take advantage of social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, where they make it easy for teachers to track what’s trending in the world of educational technology. I will proceed in continuing my education to acquire new skills and become a better teacher. I will gain the confidence by learning new methods and information.
