17-20 heifers coming into the parlour every year

Although grass measuring is not carried out, eyeballing the growth is. This seems to work well for the farmer. 
Silage quality is priority to this farmer, 76% DMD silage was brought in for the 1st cut, 73% DMD for the 2nd. 
Cows are eating 800kg of ration a year and the rest is grazed grass or grass silage
