         <description><![CDATA[<div>Anne Hutchinson was a mother, believer, and friend to Indians, but she was banished from her colony in 1638 for preaching a different version of the bible and criticizing the priests of New England. She was put on trial and banished for her religious beliefs. She was a puritan in a puritan colony, but was banished for Blasphemy and killed by Native Americans.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Religious freedom was not a right back in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The colony was made of Puritans who moved to America so they could pray however they chose. Although they were escaping religious intolerance they still committed it themselves. They were very strict about their rules and church leaders also led the government. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Treatment of Puritans in England</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Puritans were not treated well in England in the 1600's. They were prosecuted for their beliefs and wanted a change. They were thrown in jail, tortured, or even killed for not conforming to catholic beliefs. They received a charter from the Plymouth Company and moved to the new world. Their lives consisted of repaying the debts they owed to the Plymouth Company and creating a new world where the Puritans could do and pray as they wished.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
