I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and still reside in Indianapolis. I am an African American women who is in my twenties and I'm also a Christian. One set of my grandparents (maternal) are from the south (Mississippi and Tennessee) both moved to Indianapolis when they were teenagers and met at the workplace in their twenties . The other set of grandparents (paternal) are from Indiana. Both of my parents were born in Indianapolis, however my father was raised in Detroit, Michigan but came back to Indianapolis in the late 80's.

I have one older brother, a younger brother and a younger sister and two nieces and one nephew. I also have two loving parents that are highly involved in my life. In this family picture we all are wearing coordinated colors which are ivory, tan and jeans on the bottom. I like to wear crop tops, so in this picture I am wearing a faux fur crop top from Charlotte Russe and high waist jeans. I grew out the dress thing and wear them a lot more now although I still do not like bright colors so anything that has neutrals colors in it, I love to wear. Especially black. So here I am at my Aunt and Uncle's 25th wedding anniversary in 2017. I am wearing a black cape dress with a keyhole neckline. I have over 50 t-shirts. Most of them I got in college for either being on committees or winning them during on- campus games. T-shirts are definitely a staple in my wardrobe. So here I am back in 2010, wearing a "team Jacob" t-shirt. Recently, I had a close friend pass away, and in this picture I am sitting next to her. Our conversation that day was about moving on from toxic relationships and many other things. That is why I cherish true friendships, because my friends do not sugar coat anything and keep it real with me.
