1.	If nurture is so powerful, why do identical twins raised apart often show similar personalities, habits, and even life choices?

3. If nurture truly dominates, why can’t the same environment produce identical outcomes in different people?

4. Why are some people naturally more gifted in music, math, or athletics, even without extensive training?

5. Why do people in different cultures still show universal human traits (e.g., language learning stages, moral instincts, fear of snakes)?

7. If nurture can “create” anyone into anything, why has no environment ever produced a human who can defy biological limits (e.g., someone with no sleep needs, or superhuman memory without genetic factors)?

Genes write the script; the environment is just background noise."You can’t teach away DNA — nature decides who we are." Twins raised apart prove it. Adoption studies prove it. At the end of the day, nurture can guide, but nature decides.”

Hi everyone, I'm the last spk from the proposition team. This debate isn’t about if the environment matters, but what matters more — and the answer is nature. From the moment we’re born, our DNA shapes our intelligence, personality, talents, and even our vulnerabilities. In this debate, I stand firmly on the side of nature — because genes don’t just whisper who we are, they shout it.”

If they say: “Environment creates intelligence.”
👉 You fire back: (“Then why can't all students in the same classroom with the same teachers, be equally intelligent?”)

If they say: “Trauma shapes who we are.”
👉 You fire back: “Yet not everyone who suffers trauma ends up the same — resilience comes from genetics.”

If they say: “With the right training, anyone can be great.”
👉 You fire back: “If that were true, why not every trained people are Einstines yet — it's talent is inherited, not manufactured.”

Some people are born as extroverted leaders . Others are born as introverted but deeply creative . These traits aren’t taught; they’re built in. You can’t force a fish to climb a tree like a monkey, because each is programmed by nature to succeed in its own. The same goes for humans — our genes set the foundation of what we can excel at. Nurture may guide the direction, but it can’t rewrite the program written in our DNA.

For eg.. Look at two people. One understands who they are — their natural talents, their genetic strengths, their true identity. The other ignores their nature, js only follow what parents or teachers push onto them. Who will be more successful? Obviously, the person aligned with their natural abilities. You can’t force someone into a role that goes against their biology — just like you can’t turn a born footballer into a world-class opera singer by environment alone.
