It is easy for us to learn about pther people in other countries as well through the internet. It is easy to learn and find knowledge on the internet now about almost anything. Thus, we do not really need to live in a country to understand people who live there.

Also, the fact that living in the country would be able to allow you to integrate into the country with the people, is something that can happen once in a lifetime. This, hence, would give you the opportunity to actually be able to talk to people once being able to understand the language and culture, especially speaking and behavioral.

Yes. We can only understand a country's situation by living and experiencing the challenges they go through every single day. It is very easy for us the make assumptions of people living in other countries through reading news articles or social media posts without understanding the full context. This then leads to stereotypes being created which at times are very negative or judgemental. Only after experiencing what is it like in other countries, we can then make an unbaised judgement. Which is why I feel that we should not make comments or support a movement without really understanding and just trying to join the bandwagon.

There are a countless number of documentaries which go in depth about certain things, even relating to this topic. We are able to get interesting insights of these very detailed documentaries through the interviews of the documentary, or statements by the people themselves. For starters, it is a very engaging experience when you get to meet people face to face in that country. If you soend your whole time in America cooped up in the dorms studying, obviously you will not be able to experience the true nature and atmosphere of being in america because you aren't looking and exploring. Taking time to understand a culture takes effort and motivation. One could live in a country and be ignorant of all their political and cultural issues due to the fact that they simoly do not care.
