SPECIAL TREATS are excellent for training a cat into a new behaviour.   (eg. like sitting/being on your lap).

I lived with her for about a year, and had my own room.  Eve cared for many cats at a time and I found that stressful.  I was much happier being separate to them.    

At the end of July 2021 I went to my 2nd foster carer Auntie Debs.  I was scared, I hissed alot and hide all the time...  I didn't really know how to meow, so I hissed instead. 

I'm was very shy and took some time before I came out of my shell (about 2months).  I would explore the unit at night when my Debs was sleeping.   

My foster mum made me plenty of cubby holes where I could hide and I found some special places all by myself that took her a while to find !  She built up my confidence with loads of patience and love.  

Sometimes I still like to be up high (like in a bookshelf) but rest assured I'll find my spots

March 2021 Today I'm a bundle of joy and affection, always happy for a scratch and a pat.  

I can be picked up for very short peiods of time (don't leave me dangling) and Im getting used to a little bit of lap time.  Please treat me straight afterwards... so I know I did well.

It's a peronal thing sometimes it's good to introduce a new type of litter by putting a layer on the bottom of the tray and then the usual litter on the top for one or two changes (but, she doesn't seem to mind the different kitty litters).

The one I use has been a success and I like that it has a filter to also help with the smell.  It also does not have not have a door, 

There are many different styles and sizes either with or without a door. 

Whilst she has never used a litter box with a door, I'm confident that with a bit of training she would be capable.
