In the film directed by John Patrick Shanley , the main character Joe was living a dull life that soon shifted after he was diagnosed with "brain cloud" by a local doctor. This 1990 comedy directed by John Patrick Shanley stars leading man himself, Tom Hanks, multi personality Meg Ryan, and several others. They created a film that follows Joe as he abandons his boring life, falls in love, and takes risks he never would have before. This  movie does a good job of attempting to show how an average day joe can be able to escape conformity and allows himself to start a new direction in life for himself. The movie moves about at a brisk pace though the usage of music and dialogue

One actress plays all three of the females roles in the film. Even though they are the same person they have completely different personalities.
