This is a You-tube video of three individuals undergoing past life regression hypnosis techniques. Lisa Machener is the Hypnotherapist who claims she has successfully completed past life regression therapy for over 700 years. Lisa focuses on an issue that each individual wants to overcome in their current life and suggests that she takes them back to their previous life through her hypnosis techniques. This allows the person to see who they were, where they lived, and each learned vital information such as previous names; it is also said to help the individual overcome the issues that have been passed down to this life from their previous life.

Connection:
The video shows many pseudoscience red flags, such as proof by verbosity, others will see the video, and those in the video claim they have heard of past life regression through others, mystical energy, and ancient wisdom is shown. The hypnotherapist claims she has been completing past life regression therapy for over 700 years leading ancient wisdom and spiritual hypnosis is a form of mystical energy. Some people may think past life regression therapy is silly, and others may have these reasons for belief include emotional connection and perception/ observation. The individuals in this video wanted so badly to know why they felt specific ways regarding water or why they had headaches. It was so important to them that they had such a deep emotional connection to the situation as it was about them.

She says that personal beliefs in reincarnation are widely accepted worldwide and says that people should not judge others' beliefs because they disagree with their ideas. Shirly is a firm believer in many pseudoscience's such as UFOs. 
Connection: 
In this video, many pseudoscience red flags and reasons for belief are seen and talked about; Shirley, herself, mentions that many individuals believe in past life and reincarnation because of religious beliefs, cultural beliefs, and emotional connections. Shirly being a famous actress herself and completing these interviews, is in its self ideological support and proof by verbosity. The critical thinking aspect of this video is there such a thing as past life regression; with no concrete evidence and scientific evidence besides word of mouth, celebrity endorsement, and outdated religious and cultural beliefs, past life regression is a pseudoscience.

The first stories are of twins whose older sisters had passed away; they remember things that they could not have possibly known or recalled as they were not their memories. The second story is of two boys who would call themselves by other names; those names the parents recognized as a couple who had recently passed away. 

Connection: 
The stories being prevailed are hear-say, and as enjoyable as they are, there is no scientific evidence in the video to prove that these things happened.  Confusion of correlation with causation is shown in the first example and an emotional connection due to the father and mother wanting to believe so badly that their daughters were, in fact, that of their late daughters that passed away. The website mentions many pseudoscience's such as Karmic astrology, past life regression therapy, dream analyst, Akashic records, and physic intuition to understand your past lives better. 
Connection:
The website is loaded with red flags, such as ancient wisdom, mystical powers, and the drive for money and emotional connections. Through critical thinking, the issue at hand is, can this website help with past life regression? Through scientific research, one can easily see no factual evidence to support the claim that past life regression is indeed real. By completing a simple test that is a red herring, it does not prove or show anything. The website is intended to draw individuals in to eventually spend money on the website for other services offered and on the website's store.

The stories are interesting to read but again do not come with the factual evidence behind them, making them simply hearsay.
Connection: 
The article is written from a skeptical viewpoint and intended to relay the stories without pushing the idea that past life regression is indeed real. The website itself offers the red flags of ancient wisdom and religious beliefs and states that it is indeed a pseudoscience. It also displays the reason for beliefs will vary from person to person; in the 19th and 20th-century, stories of reincarnation and past life regression were a big fad; with today's scientific evidence, we know that past life regression is simply a pseudoscience.

Although the website says it is a little different than past life regression therapy, I feel it is still relevant to the topic of past life regression, this method of finding out your past life is completed via a physic reading, and no hypnosis is involved. 
Connection:

I thought the information on child occurrences involving past life experiences was vital as they bring to mind many questions. The fact that past life regression is a pseudoscience, how are children that young being affected by it? The problem at hand is past life regression real?   • What most surprised me about the topic was the number of people who claim to have had past life experiences and the number of individuals willing to spend an obscene amount of money to attempt to learn information about past lives with no factual evidence that they indeed are possible.  
  • I think the topic of past life regression is fascinating, even though most of the stories pervade are he said she said they are still fun to read or listen to, though they should be taken with a grain of salt. 
  • The research on the topic that I found the most interesting was the videos of people undergoing past life regression therapy; seeing how it is done, even if the videos might be staged, are still impressive to watch; I would not pay to have past life regression therapy done on me or even attempt the self-guided ones but hearing what individuals who had it done had to say was fun research.  
  • In all honesty, I am most likely to remember that things like past life regression therapy and physics are usually only money-driven, that they play on the unknown that fascinates us as humans, and playing on personal emotions for monetary gain. 
  • I think that in regards to the most harmful, all-natural is the most dangerous; with the anti-vaccination movement as well as ancient Chinese medicine marketing as all-natural, many people are getting not old sick but also dying due to this pseudoscience. I also think that the least harmful pseudoscience is the belief in UFOs; that personal belief does not harm people. It's not done for monetary gain. It's just a silly pseudoscience some people choose to believe in for unknown reasons. 
  • The most important information to pass on to family and friends is the dangers of anti-vaccines and alternative medicine dangers. The more people aware of this, the fewer people will be injured or even killed by this harmful pseudoscience.
