My initial impressions on this quote was that Macbeth was saying that life is short, and you will be forgotten.

Here, Macbeth doesn't see the point of living anymore, and is in complete sorrow. I think Shakespeare put this quote in to show the change that will occur in a few more lines, where Macbeth is going to change, and die valiantly in battle to keep his manhood intact. I feel like this quote is significant to show the kind of mindset of someone who has lost it all, since Macbeth at this point basically lost it all. He was precised to die, an army is at his doorsteps, and his wife just killed herself. She also read it for AP Lit. She then talked about one of her favorite quotes, and how it kind of moved her. I then said my quote, and she asked why it had a strong impression on me, since her's had a very different feeling, and mine was full of darkness. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had" It kind of shows that he doesn't really want to live anymore,  or doesn't see the point to it, if him dying are the best dreams that he is going to get. 
"Bright and early for their daily races. Going nowhere, going nowhere." This line gave off the feeling that life was basically doing the same thing over again, and there was no point in life, which is one of the main ideas towards the quote by Macbeth.
