This can happen on both ends of ages, meaning if you were young, people would think you were unknowledgeable and would not give you full rights, or if you were a senior citizen, you would also not be given full rights because of you being "too old".

An example/scenario of this would be losing a job because of your age, being refused interest-free credit, a new credit card, car insurance, or travel insurance because of your age, or receiving lower-quality service in a shop or restaurant because of the organisation's attitude towards people too young, or people too old.

Victims of this can be people too young or people too old.
