How to obtain a sign language interpreter?

As we plan activities, webinars, and events for parents and the public (including virtual), we must request the services of a sign language interpreter from the ADA office. Please be advised of the procedures for requesting these services:

Complete the Sign Language Interpreter Services Request for Parents/Guardians and/or Employees form, FM-7248 (attached).
FM must be signed by the supervisor and emailed to the ADA Office in Human Capital Management (adaoffice@dadeschools.net).
The form must be completed and submitted at least ten business days prior to the event/function/meeting.
The ADA office will confirm the arrangements via email.
