Als je iets laat vallen, valt het omlaag. Zelfs als je een bal heel hoog gooit, valt ie terug naar de aarde. Dit komt door de zwaartekracht.

Als start een afbeelding van een stamboom met drager of niet. De leerlingen moeten de bijhorende vragen oplossen. Zo komen ze tot de conclusie dat ze een ziekte kunnen overerven, maar dat deze niet tot uiting hoeft te komen. Ze hoeven hiervoor niet te werken met kruistabellen, maar gaan aan de slag met de informatie die ze vinden over de eigenschappen van drager zijn.
