A blues is a song with 12-bar structure, often with three-line stanzas where the second line repeats the first. 

Blues came from Southern regions of America, Missisippi

They have a unique scale "pentatonic"

that influenced other modern music in the world, and even AC/DC follows it

If you could perform again, what would you do differently? Why?

I would practice the trombone more so as not to make the sound shake because it did a little during the performance.

What aspects/parts of your performance do you think were the most successful? Why?

The piano's outro was the best because when we were practicing, it didn't go out good but it turned out good at the performance.

What goals would you set for yourself as a musician moving forward?

I want to be able to play songs easily just by hearing it

How has this performance experience shaped your confidence as a musician?

The performance made me confident because I did ok in front of a lot of people without getting nervous.

How is playing in a smaller group different than as a whole class?

playing in small groups is different from playing as a whole class because there are more instruments and different people at different levels of instruments.

What skills are needed to play in a smaller group?

listening to each other is important because there is less people playing and you have to mind your volume.

What were some successes your group had with the song?

I think one of the successes that our group had was learning the riff quite quickly.

What would you do as an individual and as a group to improve the song in the future?

I should practice the trombone so the sound doesn't shake(?) we should play more with the group together.

Who is your group? What song are you working on? And what instrument are you playing?

My Partner is Max, and we are doing the Mario Overworld theme on the trombone

What have you found successful working with your group so far? 

We started learning the song, and we finnished the first half of the song

In what ways is this song personally musically challenge for you?

The trombone is still a new instrument that I'm not too used too, and learning a new song,(espeacialy the melody) is really challenging

What is your own personal goal for the next practice session?

My own goal is to flawlessly play the first section of the song with my parter

What did you find challenging about what you're playing?

the melody was complicating and the bass line was also complicated. it was easy for me to play on the piano but, it was hard on the trombone.

How productive was your practice today? What strategies do you have to ensure more productve/efficient practice for next time?

very productive. keep convincing maxu to practice

Able to play the whole song.(Only me)
