Elephants as a scientific reflection

Have you ever seen a reflection in the mirror?
It seems that elephant had developed intelligence and even consciouness.
Elephants have been considered intelligent, empathetic and altruistic animals for centuries. They have the brain similar to the human in connectivity and emotional intelligence.
They understand the importance of collaboration, they know that there is greater security in groups and they always defend the youngest.
They use their trunk as a manifestation of caresses and vocalizations .For example: putting the trunk in the other's mouth is like a handshake or an elephant hug. They emit a loud squeak, which can be a signal like "sh sh sh, it's okay" used by humans to comfort and calm a baby.
The intelligence they show, as well as their sensitivity and the strong emotional ties they form with their pack remind us that under that tough and seemingly impenetrable skin, there are wise, playful and loving beings. So it is the way the brain is used that differentiates some species from others, and not the size or number of neurons that interconnect in the brain. That's why humans can do human things much better than elephants, and elephants can do elephant things much better than humans.

A chained elephant

Have you ever seen elephants in a circus?
Have you ever wonder why are they attached a chain?
Because it happened to me. When I was a child I always wondered why the elephants been such strong and big animals were attached to a small and tiny stick with chains.
After a while discovered that the elephant of circus do not escape because it's been tied to a stake (parecida) (desde) he was very, very small. (Sin duda) at that time the little elephant pushed and pulled trying to let go (a pesar de) your efforts he did'nt get it. And so after attempts he accepted his fate: "I can't and never will be able to".
To sum up, the prrvious ideas make me think that sometimes people act as an circus' elephant: "we are thinking all the time that we can't do anhthing just because previously we couldn't make it".
Why don't we take a moment to reflex in those chains and stakes, those fears and fails that keep ourselves in captivity. Let's think that we can overcome anything in life.
"We need to know that we can try over and over again and succeed".
