Articles of Confederation ready to fix America!

In 1789, the founding fathers of the United States of America became independent from Britain and wrote the Articles of Confederation. This was the outline of America's new form of government, which promised to:
1. Prepare for a Common Defense
2. Provide Public Services
3. Promote Rule of Law
4. Protect Individual Rights
5. Support the Economy
Unfortunately, the Articles of Confederation caused more harm than good to America. For example, since Congress couldn't force the states to send taxes, the army was often under supplied and many soldiers died in the long winters. Congress also failed to create a proper national postal service. Congress wasn't able to enforce the laws they created and didn't protect many rights that well. Finally, Congress allowed each state to create its own currency which created confusion among the states. In short, these articles were a big mistake for America.
