This relates to the Holocaust because during this time, the Jews were taken to concentration camps and killed in massive numbers. Ghettos were used as a temporary camp for the Jews. Also it was used for hard labor and some Jews were murdered. The Ghettos were ran by Nazis but on the inside the Nazis allowed the Jews to form a council which was called Judenrat. After Jews left the Ghettos. Camps had extremely poor conditions that never had enough food or warmth. Prisoners were often beat and the beatings resulted in death. Three mains camps were:
  1. Concentration Camps
  •  The main job of the concentration camps was to "reeducate" inmates, to show them the truth of Nazi ideas. 
    2. Transit Camps
  • Transit camps were used for gathering people (especially Jews) whom they wanted to ship elsewhere. 
     3. Labor Camps
  • Labor Camps housed both the laborers and their workshops.
  • When outdoor work was involved, the  camps provided barracks for the workforce.

Labor Camps were places to which all able-bodied Jews were sent to work as slaves. They weren't always there permanently, after the work was finished they were sent to the next one.
 Concentration camps were made to "reeducate" the inmates, usually with physical abuse. However most who survived were released later on. Death camps  were, as the name suggests, camps where the Jews were sent to be killed in so called efficient ways.

One of the greatest criminals in all of history. Known for his undying hatred for Jews. Many theories have arisen as to why he was so bent on revenge.  Based on records Hitler had an extremely close relationship to his mother. After her death, he claims the doctor was responsible  for not trying enough to save his beloved mother. The doctor was a Jew, a main root in a theory. The first concentration camp, Dachau,was created in 1933. And at the time it wasn't much to be worried about.
