         <description><![CDATA[<div>Axel Fredrik Cronstedt was a Swedish scientst who discovered nickel in 1751. He had discovered it when he was trying to prove swedish miners wrong. Swedish miner had been mining for copper, but they seemed to never get any. They didnt know at the time but they were really digging at a new element. At first they called it kupfernickel which meant goblin copper, they called it that because it seemed to look like copper but they couldnt extract any copper from it. They made up that it was becuase of imps or goblines that they couldnt find copper. Constedt being a senseble man decided to be rational and test the theory and melted the ore down and running test on it and made the conclusion that it was a new element.</div>]]></description>

It also belongs to groub 10 or transission metals which all have short half lifes and the group is made up of consists of nickel(Ni), palledium (Pd), platinum (Pt). All of thess elements appear to not appear on earths crust and most of what we get comes from space.</div>]]></description>

Its used in different electronics such as tou mobil phones. This is becuase its mainly used in rechargable batteries. Most the time nickel products can last from 25-30 years.</div>]]></description>
