The environment of kelp forests is high. Serving as a refuge from larger predators and as a food source means that everything from kelp bass to sea urchins live there. The wide range of animals helps make this ecosystem diverse. Diversity in an ecosystem is very important and comes in different types: genetic diversity, species diversity, and ecosystem diversity. Kelp forests are located ( insert location) with climates of (insert climates). One of the animals living in this environment is the keystone Sea Otter, which is sadly becoming endangered.

Sea Otters are a keystone species of kelp forests. Found in a tiny group off a highway in 1938, they soon became used to help regulate sea urchins, saving kelp forests and holding the ecosystem together. Sea otters are declining due to (reason for population decline). Currently, there are (current population number) in the world. Since the sea otters are declining, it has also affected other species, such as (insert another species affected). (If any species has become extinct due to the decrease of sea otters, insert here). The loss of sea otters has affect the kelp forests (insert reason).

The proposed solution is to just dump them in kelp forests where sea urchin regulation is necessary, and... it's working. The sea otter populations have been slowly rising in many areas. With the rise of sea otter populations, it will also affect the other species (how it'll affect them). <del>Finely something I can show you data for.</del>
